• Padding Volume: Simply adding "more" foam can unintentionally alter your ergonomics by raising your riding height or pushing you too far forward. 
• Padding Density: While softer foam can temporarily eliminate localized pressure points, it frequently compresses too much on longer rides. Firm, properly sculpted support typically yields the best long-term results. 
• Gel and Memory Foam: Memory foam is not designed for motorcycle seats. Because it lacks bounce and rebounds poorly, it would essentially feel like riding without a suspension. High-quality gel is better suited for equalizing pressure and absorbing road vibration but it isn't a magic cure.
